The next wave of Nordic AI is being built over fika, not code alone. This week, AI Sweden’s Data Science Community and Data & AI Stockholm are hosting meetups, while the Nordic AI Meet conference in Copenhagen gathers early-career researchers from across the region. New Nordics AI, launched last year, now coordinates cross-border collaboration between the Nordics and Baltics, with a mandate to accelerate adoption and talent exchange. These are not side events; they are the infrastructure for the next generation of builders, investors, and policymakers to align on shared challenges and opportunities. For builders, the takeaway is clear: show up, listen, and contribute. The most valuable connections in AI are still made in person, and the Nordics’ tight-knit ecosystem rewards those who engage early and often.
