NEW FACTS, NEW DECISION Musk’s Terafab is now the largest building on Earth, 6.4 square kilometers, 100 million square feet, in Grimes County, Texas. The first phase costs 16.8 billion dollars. It will produce 1 terawatt of AI compute per year, enough to train and run millions of agents. The chips are optimized for edge inference: Tesla’s Optimus robots, Cybercabs, and SpaceX’s orbital datacenters. Google just rented 110 000 Nvidia processors from SpaceX, a 920 million dollar monthly contract, until 2029. This is not a factory, it is a compute moat. NORDIC AGENT COMPUTE The Nordics run 1.2 million public-sector agents today. They run on foreign clouds, foreign chips, foreign guardrails. If we keep this path, every Nordic agent will be a tenant on Musk’s compute, or Microsoft’s, or Google’s. We will pay rent, we will follow their rules, we will lose sovereignty. ALTERNATIVES Option one: stay dependent. Option two: build a Nordic agent compute layer. We already have the sites: Studsvik’s 1.4 GW SMR plan, Finnish datacenters, Norwegian hydropower. We already have the models: open weights, Nordic guardrails. We lack only the chips and the will. The chips can be bought, the will must be decided tonight.
